This was a pretty straight forward project. Some technical details regarding drupal, the open source tool we use for most of our sites: I had to learn CCK now that I'm doing drupal 5. I learned how to use the incredibly powerful imagecache module which is awesome for thumbs. I learned how to better use views and better separate themes/layouts/css stylesheets. So while the project itself was straightforward I did polish my drupal skills which is something I think I am able to do with each project.
